Level 4 Instructors

Dickson’s TaeKwonDo Plus is directed by Robert Dickson; 5th degree Black Belt and is assisted by Sharon Dickson; 5th degree Black Belt / certified instructor.
In addition to the certified instructors, we are proud to be assisted by a growing team of Trainee Instructors.

Robert Dickson, owner and Chief Instructor, is a 5th degree black belt and a Level 4 TaeKwonDo Instructor. Mr. Dickson is also a certified kickboxing instructor. Mr. Dickson is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He received his TaeKwonDo training from 6th degree black belt Mr. Lowell Starr of Atlanta, GA, helped manage Mr. Starr’s locations for three years prior to opening Dickson’s TaeKwonDo in Acworth and continues his training with Mr. Starr. Mr. Dickson is an active member of the ITA Book Club and has trained in Korean Swords and Hanmudo with Dr. He-Young Kimm. He has certified in Tactical Short Stick training and has also certified in CDT's 'Training for Life' and 'Know & Go'. Mr. Dickson also regularly participates in continuing education seminars and clinics with ITA Masters including annual black belt camps and lessons from Senior Master Ron Allman, Senior Master Marv Conway and Grand Master James Bailey. Mr. Dickson is a Top 10 Competitor within the ITA.

Sharon Dickson, Senior Instructor, is a 5th degree black belt and a Level 4 Instructor. Mrs. Dickson is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She received her TaeKwonDo training from 6th degree black belt Mr. Lowell Starr of Atlanta, GA, and helped teach in Mr. Starr’s locations for two years prior to the opening of Dickson’s TaeKwonDo in Acworth. Mrs. Dickson also certified in Criminal Counter Measures for Women, in Ground Escapes and in Tactical Short Stick. Mrs. Dickson continues her training with Mr. Starr and has received training in CDT from Mr. Starr as well as having trained in Korean Swords with Dr. He-Young Kimm. A regular participant in continuing education seminars and clinics with ITA Masters including annual black belt camps and lessons, she has also received training from Grand Master James Bailey, Senior Master Ron Allman, Master Richard Johnson and Master Lili Bowen .

Michael Donisi
Mr. Donisi is a 4th degree Black Belt. He trained with Master Bowen in Woodstock.

Mark Wilbanks
Mr. Wilbanks is a 1st degree Black Belt and Level 1 Instructor. He has been doing martial arts for 8 years and has been taking TaeKwonDo for 2 and a half years. Mr. Wilbanks started HanMuDo at the age of 16 studying in Prattville, Alabama and recieved his 1st degree Black Belt from Dr. He-Young Kimm.
